Owner

As long as I can remember, I've always loved animals and envisioned a career with animals. I started getting into grooming when I was really young by grooming my grandma's dogs because it made her happy. I started Paw Prints Pet Grooming when I was thirteen for extra money. I did that through high school and college (during breaks and in the summer) and never thought I would do it as a career. I had plans of becoming a veterinary but I found I really loved grooming and I really loved how happy it made the owners! Plus I could schedule dogs around raising kids and keep my focus on being a good mom also. Grooming is still a strong passion to this day, over thirty years later and I enjoy learning new styles and techniques. I've seen the industry change so much in just the ways owners take care of their dogs and it makes me happy to see so much love. I take pride in my work and enjoy detailing every dog that comes into my shop. I've become an expert at handling dogs and what used to seem like a struggle has become easy. Today, I show, train and breed miniature poodles and after showing and owning many different breeds poodles are definitely where my passion is! I'm excited to keep learning because grooming has really expanded into an art that the pet owner is recognizing and searching for.
